Journey to Culinery Area of BSM (ENG Ver of Jalan-Jalan ke Kawasan Kuliner BSM)

This times I`m gonna share my journey to all of you, went to Culinery Area of BSM

  why you go to that place ?

When I was internship on BRI Syariah (one of many Sharia Bank in Indonesia), I always went by bus to the office. Someday, the pass the Bank Indonesia`s Bus Stop. I saw crowd on between two buliding. I was curious and saw the banner its reads Culinery Area of BSM. I though, after I finish the internship I should go to that place.

By the way, My name Rafi, I love travel and i`m so exiceted to the place where have signature panorama and their own beauty. And this is my story

November, 11 2016 at 10.18 p.m. I depart to the Culinery Area of BSM by Bus. The Bus which I used is Bus Transjakarta. This bus has many route on Jakarta. Just paid IDR 3.500, we can arround Jakarta, as long as We dont out from Transjakarta`s bus stop. This times I used Bus which depart from Ciputat and arrive in Tosari/Hotel Indonesia bus stop then I transit to other bus which depart at Bank Indonesia`s bus stop. 

When I was on the way, I saw the clock, its showed 11.45 p.m. I should to stop for Pray in mosque. I stop at Gelora Bung Karno`bus stop. I knew there is mosque near Plaza Senayan but Its too far to go there. All of sudden, I saw some people walked and brought Sajadah. I though if I follow their, I Can go to nearer Mosque. So I tried to Chasing them. Unfortunetly, I couldn`t because the exit way its took enough long stair. After I was outside, I asked to Building Security who was Standing. He told me" there is mosque in behind from that building. For go to mosque, I should pass through that buliding" I followed his direction and I founded mosque. There was lot of people, I took wudhu and shalat on terrace of the mosque. 

On my place where I took for pray, I saw mini library. Its very cool I guess. After I pray, I continue my journey. I depart on same bus stop. I waited the bus for a moment. Finally Bus arrived at Gelora Bung Karno`s bus stop. I took the bus to going to Bank Indonesia`s bus stop. There was lof of people on the bus. I though maybe I took another bus but its wasting time.

Finally, I arrived at Bank Indonesia`bus stop. I saw Culiney area of BSM. I exit from bus stop. It seems some people in there. But When I walked around on This area there was lot of people. Also, In front side of this area seems just ordinary food which sold. But in center side, there was lot of many varian dish. There was Soto Betawi, Soto Semarang, Padang`s Dish, Solo`s Dish, fu yung hai, bubur ayam, Nasi bebek, Nasi uduk and Nasi Bali. I so surpise almost all Indonesia food from any province collected in one place. Its amazing. Generally, Price wasn`t too expansive. Not only, Food which sold in Culinery area of BSM. Some thing available in here, like cloth T-shirt, selfie stick, handphone accessory, shoes, magazine.

Culinery area of BSM located on alley between two office building at MH Thamrin Street. According a shopkeeper said, this Culinery area has been for 20 years. It was just traditional market. Later, BSM (Bank Syariah Mandiri; its one of many Sharia Bank in Indonesia) did renovation to this area and named Culinery area of BSM. Its Almost 90 % costumer is employee. Due to this area highly visited on Lunch time at workday. I

I chose very very unique food. Guest what ??. I chose Rice with Duck (LOL). Yeah i know, its not unique food. But I though I want it. I ordered Rice and leg duck. Just few minute, my order ready to ate. The rice and duck still hot. After been colder I ate them with little bit chili sauce. 

Oh my God, Its so spicy. its feel like burn my mouth.

After I ate all rice and duck except the hot sauce because its so spicy. I have been quite for a moment. after the hot feeling passed, I pay for it. And I went to home. That`s the end of my journey to Culinery Area of BSM.
